Buz Ottem, Builder is a General Contracting company involved in residential and light commercial construction on the North Oregon Coast. Whether it's new construction or any aspect of remodeling, we have the experience and expertise to do it all.

New Construction

From the finest custom home to the quaintest beach cottage we can bring your home full circle, from conception to completion. After 25 plus years in the business, Buz has developed the skill, the team and the management ability to produce a seamless project, start to finish.

Remodeling

Additions, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Siding, Decks, Windows and Doors, virtually any aspect of remodeling will be completed to withstand the highest degree of scrutiny - absolute first rate in all regards. Custom remodeling is an art and science which few individuals can put together. Odds are you will undertake a large custom remodel only once in your life - do not err on the promise of a low price - there is no substitute for quality, for doing it right. My reward is sleeping well, knowing you won't be calling me regarding problems with your home. Your reward is not having to deal with inexperience and the frustrations of a job poorly done.

My Husband & I live in Beaverton, Oregon, but purchased a second home in Seaside last summer. .........asked him if he was familiar with Buz Ottem and he told me I couldn’t go wrong ...........Buz did a great job for me with the shortest disruption to my tenants. Because I could not afford to take time off from work and come to Seaside, Buz emailed me pictures of the extent of the damage and the costs. It was not an easy job! ........ All in all, both my tenants and myself were very pleased. There are few things as damaging to a building as water getting in where it shouldn’t and I am happy to have the problem resolved. Buz was great to work with for us all and I would use him again and highly recommend him to others.
